INTRODUCTION
In Balochistan it was deeply apprehended that there must be a separate entity to organize the training and research events for the capacity building of the judicial officers. In the year 1999 an interim set up was established under the supervision of Hon’ble High Court of Balochistan and a Director was assigned, who started initial training classes in the High Court Library.
However, in 2011 an Academy was formed in a rented building adjacent to University Law College Quetta and awarded a statuary status through "The Balochistan Judicial Academy Act-II of 2010". Rules were framed as Balochistan Judicial Academy (Employees) Service Rules 2012. Presently the "The BJA (Employees Pension) Rules 2019" are under consideration with the Government.
