Training Program for newly Recruited Assistant District Public Prosecutors (ADPP) of Government of Balochistan Prosecution Department

Two weeks capacity development training Program was conducted from 18th-31st March 2021 for the newly recruited ADPPs of Prosecution Department. It has provided an opportunity to the trainees to upscale their knowledge and professional skills for improved prosecution performance. Seventeen (17) ADPPs of the Prosecution Department were trained.The Prosecutor General Mr. Naimatullah Batezai & Mr. Aftab Ahmed Lone Member Inspection Team the HCB graced the opening and closing of the training event respectively.

Training Program for the Investigating officers (IOs) of Balochistan Levies Force Group-I

Two weeks training program for the Investigating officers/officials of the Balochistan Levies Force (BLF) was conducted from 5th-17th April 2021. It has provided an opportunity to the BLF officials Jamadars/Sobaidars/Resaldars/IOs to upgrade their knowledge and skills discharging their responsibilities effectively.Twenty five (25) IOs of BLF belonging different districts of Balochistan participated in this training. The Director BJA Mr. Mohammed Zareef & Advisor Mr. Nazar Mohammed Kakar graced the certification among the trainees.

Capacity Development Training program for Judicial Magistrates cum Civil Judges Group-I

One week Judicial Professional Development Program was conducted from 24th-29th May 2021 for the judicial officers. It assisted the trainees in improving their criminal and civil judicial competencies for effective adjudication. It has provided an opportunity among the judicial officers for interaction and sharing their judicial experience for profession development. Fifteen (15) judicial officers have been participated and trained the Hon'ble Justice Mr. Abdul Hameed Baloch of the HCB has graced the certificate distribution ceremony.

Training Program for the Investigating officers (IOs) of Balochistan Levies Force Group-II

Two weeks training program for the Investigating officers/officials of the Balochistan Levies Force (BLF) was conducted from 21st June to 3rd July 2021. It has provided an opportunity to the BLF officials Jamadars/ Sobaidars/Resaldars /IO's to upgrade their knowledge and skills in discharging their responsibilities effectively. Thirty (30) IOs of BLF from different areas of Balochistan participated in this training. Mr. Mujeeb ur-Rehman Director General BLF, graced the certificate distribution ceremony.

Training program for newly enrolled female lawyers in Balochistan Bar Council Group-I

Three days training program for the newly enrolled lawyers (female) in Balochistan Bar Council (BBC) was conducted from 10th August to 12th August 2021. It has provided an opportunity to the new aspirants of legal fraternity to understand the procedure of pursuance of cases of litigants in the courts. It has assisted them for making legal drafting and pleading in an effective manner. Twelve (12) newly female entrants of BBC participated in this training. Mr. Aftab Ahmed Lone Member Inspection Team (MIT) of the HCB and representatives of Bar (BBC), graced the certificate distribution ceremony.

This capacity building training program familiarized and sensitized the core group of trainees regarding protection of human rights particularly in criminal justice system of Balochistan. It has provided them to improve their knowledge and skills on human rights with the help of training modules. Twenty (20) judicial officers of different category participated in this event. This capacity building training program familiarized and sensitized the core group of trainees regarding protection of human rights particularly in criminal justice system of Balochistan. It has provided them to improve their knowledge and skills on human rights with the help of training modules. Twenty (20) Public Prosecutors of different category participated in this event. Need based on the Job support program for the Capacity building training program for the Civil judges of Quetta district Judiciary

On guidance and directions of Hon'ble Chief Justice Balochistan an innovative On the Job Support training program for the capacity enchantment of the Quetta district judiciary Civil judges part time basis Seventeen days training program was conducted on alternative days and weekly basis from 21st October to 30th November 2021. Gaps found in the management and disposal of civil cases as per the requirement of CPC and its ancillary orders were thoroughly deliberated upon for improved adjudication. Hon'ble Chief Justice of Balochistan Mr. Naeem Akther Afghan has particularly emphasized on Quality judicial work and expeditious disposal of civil nature cases with improved judicial skills. He also shared the ingredients of judgment and decree. The Hon'ble Justice Mr. Ejaz Sawati and Justice Zahiruddin Kakar discussed about the significance and early disposal of civil disputes by application of judicial mind. Almost thirty-two (32) judicial officers (Civil Judges/Senior Civil Judges) of Quetta district judiciary attended this on the job support training program. Core group of judicial officers also got the opportunity to interact with the judicial officers of District Pishin during the Local Study Visit.

Three days training program for Prosecutors on Human Rights Safeguard in the Criminal Justice System of Balochistan under Haqooq-e –Pakistan European Union funded program Training-I was aligned under AWP of the academy and conducted on 25th-27th October 2021. This capacity building training program familiarized and sensitized the core group of trainees regarding protection of human rights particularly in criminal justice system of Balochistan. It has provided them to improve their knowledge and skills on human rights with the help of training modules. Twenty (20) Public Prosecutors of different category participated in this event. Resource Pack Orientation Justice Sector Stakeholders on Gender Based Violation Laws UN-WOMEN

2- days training program for Judicial on Officers Resource Pack Orientation on Gender Based Violation Laws aligned under AWP of the academy in collaboration with UNWOMEN Balochistan. It was conducted on 1st-2nd November. This capacity building training sensitized the core group of trainees regarding GBV/VAW related national and provincial laws. Contents regarding gender discrimination,  Women/child/transgender/handicap/victim/accused and others) were particularly shared with the judicial officers for the improved knowledge and its application in the courts. Twenty (20) Judicial Officers of different category participated in The Hon'ble Justice Mr. Abdullah Baloch of High Court of Balochistan graced the certificate distribution ceremony.
